At Girls on the Run, we inspire girls to be joyful, healthy, and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum that creatively integrates running. The program targets girls in grades 3-8 and is led by volunteer coaches, who meet with the girls twice per week for 10 weeks (spring/fall seasons) at school and park sites. Girls complete a celebratory end-of-season 5K. 97% of girls who complete the program say that Girls on the Run helped them to learn critical life skills.
